Happy Easter
Yes, Mrs. Grumpy pants is gone. Thank goodness. And don't come back soon.
Today is Good Friday. We went on a walk with our church for the way of the cross. I hope to have time to take the kids to the farm to see the animals before we go to the poor man's supper at our church this evening. I have made leek soup Mmmmm to take for the dinner. I am also trying out the bread maker my sister in law gave us. And we have 30 people coming for dinner on Sunday And I need to have my house clean by then so...
Have a lovely Easter Holiday!
See I'm so much more cheerful now.

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend. Leek soup, I have never heard of that. Sounds interestingly good! :)

i love leek soup, haven't made it for years. i was reading some of your other blogs, cuz i don't think i've been here before. i do the usual stuff with my kids for easter, but they are older now, aged 11, 14 and 21. we always do easter cupcakes or cookies, bake them the night before and then i let them do the decorating, all by themselves. i buy candy and sprinkles in the easter colour and just hope the mess isn't going to be too much. i tried not to do it once a few years back, but they complained so we started it up again.

Hope Mr. Grumpy stays away for a long time. I know the feeling and it is sucky, but truthfully every now and then we all get a little grumpy. Then it goes away and we are back to our old selves again. Happy Easter, sounds like you have a good weekend planned.

30 people, are you crazy?? God bless you!
Leak soup sounds wonderful!
I had forgotten you were from Quebec, how far from the city centre? I only really know, that we are near the cremazie metro station..not sure if that says much, but I'm not too familiar with all around montreal..
Thank you so much for wishing me a happy birthday, I was soo touched that everyone left me a comment:)
take care, kim

I just stumbled onto your blog and I am happy about it. I'll be back to read more for sure. I have four children...three girls and one boy. It is rare to see people with five. I had thought about having another but I am not sure. Maybe, if I read your blog it will help :)

Thirty people for Easter dinner? Oy vey!! I get stressed when my parents AND my brother and SIL descend on us for a single meal. Then again, with five kids I guess you get used to meals as mass productions, eh? (admiring wink)
